Synology clean URL local access

It surprises me how few people know this, but you really don't need to access your Diskstation via its IP address. Remember setting up the server name? Well, you can simply access your Diskstation with that! I called my server the "AllSpark", so in my case, the local access URL translates to:

http://allspark:5000

Be sure to substitute port 5001 for https access, or if you're declaring custom ports then use those.
